The area below shows the functions that are assigned to the six function keys. The LCD is refreshed as soon as you change the active foreground application or by changing the active configuration.

This allows you to see which function is assigned to each key at a glance. Instead of displaying the function key assignment the LCD can also show the date and time.

The status line at the bottom shows which keys are currently pressed and also displays if the device is currently in 2D or Dominant mode. To be able to use the SpaceController without the SpaceController Control Panel you can change the most important setting with a menu.

You can use the PowerWheel to navigate in this menu and also to change the settings.
